Kernan Celebrates Read Across America

Kernan celebrated Read Across America over the weekend. Students in grades K-2 attended a Saturday school enrichment program where they each received a free book and participated in hands-on activities. Kindergarteners learned about the butterfly life cycle and made caterpillars, while first graders read Green Eggs and Ham and learned about Dr. Seuss. Second graders read The Smart Cookie while working on different story elements.
