Today Hughes Elementary celebrated 100 days of school with a day full of creativity and school spirit. Students and teachers had a blast dressing like they were 100 years old, sporting gray wigs, curlers and canes. Many also showcased their creativity by designing special “100 Day” shirts featuring 100 items, including collections of small objects. In addition to the fun outfits, students and families helped collect 100 boxes of cereal to give back to those in need. It was a wonderful way to celebrate a milestone while combining learning, creativity and community service.
