Students participated in an interactive Financial Reality Check simulation at Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC), where they explored the financial responsibilities and decisions associated with independent living. Through hands-on activities, students received credit counseling and financial advice while learning how to create a budget, manage expenses and make informed life decisions. Students also explored real-world costs related to healthcare, transportation, housing and other essential needs, helping them better understand the importance of financial literacy and planning for their future.
