On September 10, the Proctor junior varsity and varsity girls soccer teams played dual matches against Vernon-Verona-Sherrill (VVS), bringing local fans out to support both programs in a pair of competitive home contests. Both squads delivered strong efforts from kickoff to the final whistle.
The junior varsity squad got the action started early, bringing high energy to the pitch and setting a physical tone for the rest of the night. Coaches on both sides utilized their rosters extensively, allowing players to build chemistry, adjust to real-time match flow and gain valuable playing time. The match offered a good look at the future of both programs, with players fighting for possession, executing tactical plays and working through transition phases, though VVS ultimately earned a 3–0 win over Proctor.
The varsity match was a fast-paced, high-intensity battle from start to finish. Both Proctor and VVS matched each other's urgency, trading scoring opportunities and pushing hard on offense throughout both halves. Defensive units on both sides were tested early as key plays across the field shifted the game's momentum. Proctor answered every push from VVS down the stretch, holding tight during the closing minutes to secure a 4–3 victory on home turf.
